The iPad from Apple is an exciting new bit of kit – kind of a cross between a smartphone and a laptop.

The equipment has now been launched in the States, so us Brits are eagerly anticipating news of a release date here – there is a rumour going round that it could be the 26th April.

We are especially keen to get our hands on one as we are currently developing a number of iPad specific projects.

Nowadays it is important that businesses consider the range of different devices that can be used to access the web – does your existing website work as its meant to on an iPhone or Blackberry for example?
