Premium Carpet Care – a success story

Premium Carpet Care provide an outstanding carpet cleaning service across the Home Counties. When Premium Carpet Care approached us they had an existing website in much need of a bit of a facelift. Our design team got to work, and after providing a number of concepts we produced a layout which the client was delighted with.
Innovative design
From here we purchased high-quality graphics to give the site a professional feel. As the client wished to be able to update their content and regularly add news clippings and testimonials, we integrated the site into Wordpress. We made a number of modifications ensuring that the site would perform much better than their existing site had managed in Google and other search engines.

SQL – update records in one table based on values in another

After messing around for a while to figure out a way to do this, eventually I figured it out using the EXISTS clause.
Here is an example :

iPad Update, Cross Platform Compatibility

The iPad from Apple is an exciting new bit of kit – kind of a cross between a smartphone and a laptop.
The equipment has now been launched in the States, so us Brits are eagerly anticipating news of a release date here – there is a rumour going round that it could be the 26th April.
We are especially keen to get our hands on one as we are currently developing a number of iPad specific projects.
Nowadays it is important that businesses consider the range of different devices that can be used to access the web – does your existing website work as its meant to on an iPhone or Blackberry for example? What about on a 1080 HP high definition monitor – does the site look small and isolated in the middle of the screen? Perhaps your site might even appear differently on a Mac from a PC. In this situation, it is possible a percentage of your site visitors will not see your site as intended and this could reflect badly on the professionalism of your business.

Cut Complex Website Launched

This month has seen the launch of the Cut Complex Website – an exiting new sports development in Bermuda.
The complex will include a gymnasium with a boxing ring, a basketball court, badminton and two squash courts, all with public viewing areas. A FIFA football training field with 2,700 seats—two training fields doubling as an event area with stage—two covered tennis courts, covered diving and a 50m swimming pool and a 240 seat restaurant plus entertainment area. Further included will be a 94 room hotel with multiple executive suites, a sports physiotherapy centre, a film/media viewing auditorium, a recording studio, bowling alley, cinema and supermarket.
